After having her heart broken Sammy is ready to love again! I surprised Sam with a pair of Rex Rats from the pet store (not the basement) Wed after school. They are girls and have been named Winie (short for Winfield) and Yatzee. Winie is the gray one with the white stripe on her nose. She has a great temperment and comes to us when we speak sweetly to her. Yatzee has black markings on her face and back. She needs a little more time to get used to us. She is still biting and is a little scared of the kids. We are giving her some space for now but hope she'll come around soon.
