Gettting Ready

Halloween Hallow

One of the great things about being back here in Chicago is were are able to continue the traditions we started with the Stanek kids. Halloween Hallow is one of those traditions. We had a great time and all of the kids loved wearing their costumes. Little Bo Peep and her sheep got so many smiles and laughs. The twins were too cute and snuggly in their fleece.

Galloping Ghost Fun Run

Here are our little runners at the Galloping Ghost Run - they managed to run about 3/4 of their mile. It was nice to see how many new friends Maisie has made at school already. She seemed to know EVERYONE.

Day Off

Let's here it for a day off from school. Thank you Christopher Columbus!

Ben went to DeKalb for the day with friends to a corn maze so we had a girl trip to a zoo/park in Aurora. What a great time! Maisie's BFF Zoe joined us for the day. We had a lot of fun.

Stanek's Visit

Just another weekend of enjoying cousins now that we are all back together!
Here are a few pics from the park near our house - Maisie took the pics of the geese, she still loves them and has forgotten that here they are pests.

New York State Fair

We didn't have time to take pictures at the Fair there was so much to do.  It was a  hot day and it was crowded but we had fun.  The kids saw a monkey show, the swine house, the horse pull and the butter sculpture.  We spent about an hour looking for the Morton's 4H entries but couldn't find them.  What a day!!!  Thanks for coming with us Grandma.  It was awesome meeting Uncle Wayne and Aunt Kathy there too.
