We Won

Each of the kids won something from the pubic library's summer reading program. Ben won a Jungle Book activity set. Here it is all built with a few additional Pokemon add ons.

Maisie on the Midway

Here is Maisie on the Midway and with Grandma. She had a great time riding all of the kiddie rides - the only problem is she seemed to get into trouble on each of them for doing something. Apparently you aren't allowed to take your seat belts off yourself or change horses in the middle of the ride.

Some rules are just so BORING!!!!!!!!

Squirrels Squirrels Everywhere!!!!

Yes, these are squirrels! They were all over the place at house at the beach. Of course we were throwing peanuts at them and trying to catch them in home made traps. None of the traps worked but we had a lot of fun trying!

Here are some of the ships that I made on vacation - they have escape hatches, a secret compartment to keep money in, and the flap in the front goes up and down for the landing pad. It is packed with weapons and goes really fast on land. Too bad I had to break it when it was time to clean up. Luckily we had some pictures of the Dragstar 911.

First day on the beach!

Sylvan Beach turned out to be a great idea. The kids had a great time walking to the beach with me every morning and passing the day (until it rained - which was about EVERY day!) Here are Ben and Maisie playing in the sand
