Spring is here, the chickens are happy to be free and so are all of the other creatures of our house!

Summer is almost here!

Summer is almost here and you know what that means.....  Camp Shaw!  We went for an open house last weekend to show Maisie what she should expect this year since she is going as well.  Everyone is very excited.  Each time I head to Camp Shaw I wish that I could go there for a brief vacation.  Well guess what?  I can!!  They do family camp on various weekends through out the summer.  We are thinking of trying to head down there for a weekend this summer as a family although I don't know... the summer sure is booking up fast!

Swimming and butt surfing in the river (if it is at normal levels, this is WAY higher than usual, this was after all of our flooding last week )

Bye Bye Mindy!

Well today we said Good Bye to Mindy our foster puppy from Foster2Home.  She has been adopted by a wonderful couple with another dog and hopefully all will go well and they will all be happy together.  Having a puppy has been fun but we are ready to enjoy the freedom of having just Freckles, the World's Best Dog again.  We just hope Freckles isn't bored with US now!!

No more sharing her bed and toys with Mindy - let's see if she appreciates that :-)

Happy Easter!

It's been too long since we have updated!

Part of the reason is that I like looking at the Florida pictures soonest (even if the trip was last month) and the other is that we have been busy busy busy.   We had Maisie's eighth birthday, a bowling party, a birthday party with the Stanek kids (Liam is two and Jackson is seven) and the general business of catching up after vacation.  Most recently we added to our family.  For those of you thinking "OMG, the Zink's are crazy!!" Yes, we are but not like that.  We have added a puppy to our house temporarily.  She is 14 week old puppy that we are fostering for the agency that we adopted Freckles from.  She is a sweetheart and if you are thinking of adding a puppy to your life you should contact the agency to meet Mindy, she is a great dog needing her furever family.  So in no particular order here we go..... the last month of our lives.....
