Stanek visit

The Stanek and Zink kids got to hook up with one another for a few hours today. A great time was had by all!

Two new birds

We've added two Easter Eggers to our flock. They are only ten weeks so they are much smaller than the rest of the hens and are not laying yet. We have them separated in the coop and run so they don't get picked on by our big pushy birds. Here is Sammy with them on their first day here- they are very friendly and love the kids and being handled.

Maisie lost two teeth!

Two nights in a row!

Finally our two girls settle down and ironically it's together! That's two nights in a row for these two rambunctious little ladies :-)

We have a new cat by Maisie

We have a new cat. Her name when she came to us was Pooh. We are going to rename her. Pooh is adorable.

Sammy got a new rat - introducing PHOEBE. Hate to say it but she is kind of cute.....

Goodbye Kurtis

Kurtis was hit by a car and is no longer with us. We will miss him but are finding smiles in our memories of him and the belief that now he is on an endless chase of chipmunks in green meadows with no borders.
