On our way to the Twin's Christening

Thought I'd take a few pics while they are all nice and clean. Ben's shirt is even tucked in!

Cantigny

What a beautiful day! Today Grandpa and Grandma came to visit. It is their 40th wedding anniversary. We went out to breakfast and then spent the day at Cantigny in the gardens. The gardens were awesome and Sammy worked on filling a box with treasures she found. There weren't many nuts and leaves yet, I guess we'll have to wait until it gets a little later in the fall. She did find a Ginkgo leaf (her favorite) and some chestnuts. I'm sure she'll turn it into some kind of cool project, she always does.

Maisie's First Day of School

We Love the Library!

Ben and Sam started School today. Maisie was disappointed not to be able to start as well. No worries though, she spent part of her morning at the library with her friends. I don't think anyone can know how much we are going to miss that place and everyone in it!

First Day Back to School

This about sums it up. Sammy came in to wake me at 6:45 - she was dressed, hair styled, teeth brushed, and ready to go with her back pack on. Ben well.... I think the picture tells it all.

More Amazing Structures made of Lego Bricks

LegoLand Chicago

We spent the last day of summer vacation at Legoland with the kids' friends: Nessah, Izzy, Sera, Joy, and Jacob. You can see from the pictures, everyone had a great time. It is amazing all of the work that goes into the structures at Legoland - the kids can't believe someone gets to design & put them together FOR A JOB! It lets them know that being a grownup might not be ALL bad.
