Halloween........ Round one

Halloween - the best time of year - and not even for the candy. As you can see the Z kids love to dress up. Halloween is pretty much the only time we don't hassle the kids about wearing their costumes while out and about. Here they are before we headed to O'Jacks' for Halloween Hallow with the cousins. We can't wait to see what Jackson and Fiona are dressed up as!!!!! Oh... and for the record Ben is Mario not just any old plumber!

Maisie the crafter!

Have I said how much Maisie is liking school? I am so proud of how well she is doing. She is learning to be nice to everyone, wait her turn, and is really having opportunities to interact with people on a positive level. Here she is waiting to get ready to go to school this morning. In the second picture she is showing the "Diego" picture she made yesterday while she was at home with me. She is really growing up!!!!

Maisie's First Day of Preschool

Today was Maisie's first two hour day of school! She was very excited to get to stay to eat snack this time. I have a feeling we are BOTH going to be happy with this new arrangement.

Getting dressed by herself

Maisie is ready for the start of pre-school and has been getting dressed every morning - too bad it is 90 degrees here! Only two more days until
she is in school twice a week. Today was orientation - she loved it!! The worst part of the day was when they told her it was over after 45 minutes. She wanted to stay to have a snack.

Samantha the Rat Wrangler

SAm is working on a show with Rizzo - we'll let you know when it's been perfected.

Hmmmmmm

This may be the reason why the blog isn't updated too much..... we are back into the swing of things and are in school again. Last week was the kids' first full week of school and it feels like we never left!

Sam is hard at work in second grade and here she is working on her spelling homework. Remember writing those words time after time to memorize them? Well somethings never change.

Ben is in fourth grade now and the work load is pretty heavy considering there are only 24 hours in a day and 7 of them are spent in school. We are working on him being less overwhelmed and think that soon he'll feel better about it all, but for now he is wondering................................... WHY??????
