What a weekend! We had a such a great time, thanks everyone! We went to Music in the Alleys in Geneva and listened to our favorite local band the "Blues Shakers" and a new band Christopher has joined called"Bluegrass Escape". Both bands were great and I am sad that we won't be seeing any more live shows with these great bands for a while, unless of course, they book in Vermont (which would be GREAT, we'll have to talk to their booking agent).
What a beautiful day! Today Grandpa and Grandma came to visit. It is their 40th wedding anniversary. We went out to breakfast and then spent the day at Cantigny in the gardens. The gardens were awesome and Sammy worked on filling a box with treasures she found. There weren't many nuts and leaves yet, I guess we'll have to wait until it gets a little later in the fall. She did find a Ginkgo leaf (her favorite) and some chestnuts. I'm sure she'll turn it into some kind of cool project, she always does.
