It's been too long since we have updated!

Part of the reason is that I like looking at the Florida pictures soonest (even if the trip was last month) and the other is that we have been busy busy busy.   We had Maisie's eighth birthday, a bowling party, a birthday party with the Stanek kids (Liam is two and Jackson is seven) and the general business of catching up after vacation.  Most recently we added to our family.  For those of you thinking "OMG, the Zink's are crazy!!" Yes, we are but not like that.  We have added a puppy to our house temporarily.  She is 14 week old puppy that we are fostering for the agency that we adopted Freckles from.  She is a sweetheart and if you are thinking of adding a puppy to your life you should contact the agency to meet Mindy, she is a great dog needing her furever family.  So in no particular order here we go..... the last month of our lives.....

Well sad to say but the sun is setting on this vacation.  Time to think about getting home ............

Vacation

More fun here on Marco Island, the weather is beautiful and today the kids went out in the Gulf with Tom on the jet ski.  It is something only a cool cousin like Tom would offer - it was a hard one to say No to. 

Having a Great Time - Wish you were here!

Really, we ARE having a great time!  It has been a little cooler than usual (hence the sweaters and fleece) but the temperature is supposed to get a little higher today.  We had a great day on the beach yesterday collecting seashells and walking.  Kids of course used the pool as did all the other kids here at the Surf Club.  Apparently when you are from Chicagoland or Upstate New York 60 degrees IS swimming weather!

Finally, it's winter!

Well we have been waiting and waiting.  Looks like this might be as good as it gets.  We'll do the best we can.  Kids got out the snowboards, igloo brickmaker, and even the dog's sweater.  Now all we need is enough snow for a snow day!!!

Zoe is Eight!

It is Zoe's birthday - she is eight now.  Hard to believe that she and Maisie have been friends since they celebrated their third birthdays together.  Here we are now.  My how things have changed....

Well I guess they really haven't changed all that much, just lost a comrade in beauty to a cross country move.
