Well things didn't work out with Yatzee our new rat.  She was biting the kids when we tried to hold her so we exchanged her for a litter mate that the kids named Maya.  Maya looks just like Yatzee but doesn't bite.  She isn't as friendly as Winnie who has worked her way into all our our hearts already but she sure is cute!

The kids and cats were curious about dinner last night - the girls screamed and ran away but Ben and Curtis had no problem manhandling these monsters WITH the rubber bands of course :-)
